About Us

Fanus Schoeman, the Founder and Owner of Team Photo SA, embarked on his photography journey with the South African Air Force in 1979, where he served as an apprentice photographer. By 1982, he had obtained his qualifications as a photographer, followed by specialisation in Aerial Photography in 1983.

In 1990, Schoeman assumed the role of Officer Commanding at the Central Phototechnical Establishment, overseeing the largest Photographic Section within government departments.

After a distinguished tenure, he departed from the South African Air Force at the close of 1992 to pursue a career in sports journalism.

He joined The Oosterlig, later known as Burger-Oos-Kaap, where he excelled as a Sports Journalist.

In 2005 Schoeman ventured into the field of event photography with the establishment of LiveMoments, which later evolved into We Teach Photography and eventually culminated in the establishment of Team Photo SA.

Specialising in team photos, action shots, and memorabilia portraits for school sporting events nationwide, Team Photo SA distinguishes itself through the provision of personalised stretched canvasses and canvas banners.

With a prestigious clientele that includes top South African schools, Team Photo SA has also earned the distinction of being the Official Photographic Service Provider for SA Schools Hockey (SASHOC).
